BMC's E10 PMP® Certification Test Preparation Course

The Course

The course prepares the participants to pass the Project Management Professional (PMP®) examination. This course is in complete compliance with the Project Management Institute (PMI®) Guidebook, the Project Management Body of Knowledge, PMBOK™, and Business Management Consultants (BMC) is a Registered Education Provider (REP) for PMI®.

This course provides experienced project managers with the tools and tips for passing the examination. It includes 50 to 60 “Examination Tips” of questions that always seem to appear on the test in some form. The questions handbook includes seven hundred and fourteen (714) exam questions, and during the course, the participants will take a four (4) hours of timed examination under conditions similar to the actual exam. BMC conducts this course at University of Houston, University of Florida, Pennsylvania State University, Singapore Institute of Management in Singapore, Hellenic-American Union in Athens, International Management Institute in Kiev Ukraine, and other venues for such companies as Centerpoint Energy, Christus Healthcare, DHL, EDG, NASA, Sprint, TEPPCO, US Cellular, Wärtsilä-Finland, to name just a few.

The 3rd Edition of the PMI® PMBOK® was released in October 2004. The certification test changed in September 25, 2005 to a new, more difficult test. The results of BMC have been outstanding.

Course Participants

This course is targeted to project management professionals who want to pass the PMI® Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification Examination in the shortest possible time.

The broad learning goals of the PMP® Prep Course include:

The Instructor

Dr. Azhar Mansur Khan is Associate Director of BMC’s Middle East and Africa Division and Director of Pakistan. Dr. Khan is an adjunct faculty at ESC School of Management Science Lille France, a professor at Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering, CASE Pakistan

Dr. Khan’s professional background incorporates 26 years of experience that includes senior leadership positions in the government, industry, NGOs, United Nations and professional management consulting. He has developed more than 200 projects. Dr. Khan is an expert of the technical/ infrastructure as well as community development and social mobilization /social sector development projects and has been entrusted to head several National High Level Commissions and Committees about debt reduction, social development, industrialization, quality improvement, economy and environment protection. He has conducted Engineering Project Management training workshops for the Government Organizations, Private Firms like Nortel Networks, LMKR, U-fone, Mobilink and educational institutions. He has also conducted Project Management trainings for the Social Sector Organizations like the Government, UNDP, Aga Khan Network, LEAD, NEAP-SP, Plan-International, Islamic Relief International, Population Planning, Planning Commission, Mercy Corps International, Sustainable Development Policy Institute, Fred Hollows International etc. He has also been a keynote and guest speaker at several conferences and elite organizations. He has also conducted more than 100 training workshops on contemporary management related topics.

Dr. Khan is the Chief Executive of Institute of Project Management and Emotional Intelligence. He is also an adjunct professor at USQ Australia, National University of Sciences and Technology NUST, Pakistan Institute of Quality Control (PIQC), Government of Pakistan Planning Division Institute, Bahria University and National University of Modern Languages Islamabad. He is an engineer, economist, expert of Project Management, Technology Management, Knowledge Management, Value Management, Value Engineering, Emotional Intelligence, System Dynamics, Systems Engineering and Operations/Production Management. Dr. Khan is also an executive coach for Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, Teambuilding, Decision Making, Moral Intelligence and Problem Solving. He has widely taught and extensively published in these fields with several PhD students working in various areas under his supervision. Dr. Khan has earned MS & PhD in engineering, MS in Cost-Benefit Analysis Economics and diplomas in Project Management, Technology and Operations/Production Management from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia USA. He is a fellow of Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) USA, Salzburg Seminar (Austria), Wilton Park (England) and several other elite national/international organizations.

The PMP® Prep course will be conducted over a five-day, eight-hour classes daily schedule which requires focus and is intense.

Course Fee

  1. For the professionals working in the Punjab Government 100% course fee subsidy will be provided; on passing PMP® exam the exam fee is reimbursable; monthly PMP allowance of Rs. 5,000/- has also been notified by the Punjab government for the F/Yr 2006-07 and 2007-08.

  2. For all other professionals course fee is 30,000/- per participant. PMI Lahore Chapter members will be provided discount of 10,000/- and for them the course fee is 20,000/- per participant.PMI Lahore Chapter is offering a further incentive to successful PMP’s from each course run who pass the PMP exam duing 2 months from attending the course:
